10 Yummy Pancakes Ebook

By Chioma 21 Comments

Exactly a year ago, the name Mummy’s Yum was born. It was my birthday gift to myself…yes, today is also my birthday. Before then, i never knew what blogging was all about and my knowledge of the internet was the usual ‘browsing and facebooking’. I took the plunge and started searching, researching, reading up articles and posts on it. I applied my learning here and designed this simple blog all by myself including logos and all…and i keep praying it won’t come crashing down on me one day (lol).

One year down the line, i’ve learnt a lot and as well done things i never knew i was capable of. I have always loved cooking; inventing or developing a recipe comes naturally to me, but i am a total mess on plating and photography. I’m yet to be perfect but i’ve sure improved greatly on those two within this time and still making progress. I am still running the blog all by myself, updated my knowledge of nutrition with a Diploma in Nutritional Studies and learning new things everyday…making and designing this e-book is one of them. This is my first experiment and i’m sure it is not so perfect, so bear with me and give me a shout if you see any error or have any advice to help me improve (winks)

ebook

This pancake e-book contains 10 delicious pancake recipes you can make for your kids. I’ve developed these pancakes with different bases like flour, yam, unripe plantain, oats, fruits etc. So, it is an e-book with pancake varieties ranging from sweet, savoury, healthy, indulgent, nutritious, adventurous and all. They are all kid-friendly and very easy to make.

I am therefore celebrating my double birthday with this ebook to all Mummy’s Yum subscribers. It is my way of appreciating your loyalty, kind words, comments and feedback (one of you, Julia-Faith by name, actually made me research and learn how to make an ebook). I won’t forget to thank Ronke of 9jafoodie and Aunty Flo of All Nigerian Recipes for responding to me when i reached out, giving me tips and pointers which helped me at the initial stage.  Thank you and God bless these food Queens.

    Congratulations Chioma!
You are a doer sis and you are flying ahead. Well done for creating your first book. If we do not do, we will not learn and we will not get better. When the bigger one comes, you will fly over it like second nature.

Here’s to more ebooks and a published book.

Thank you for all the recipes. 😉

Wow! Am I glad that little comment about needing the recipes in pdf format for use on my tab has lead to greater things. Kudos! So proud of you and how far you have come. Your blog is my usual go to for exciting child friendly recipes. My boys have loved every single meal from your site. Thank you for making life easier for this hassled mom of picky eaters.

I found your profile via explore on instagram. I followed and observed your dishes/posts were interesting to look at and quite simple.

Then I saw the tomatopaste post, saw you had a website and decided to visit. Wow! I must say you make the steps look so easy, uncomplicated and your recipes use easy to find ingredients – not like one has to go climb the tallest mountain, to pluck a leaf from the top of the shortest tree using your little finger and without causing the branch to shake… hehehehehehehe 😀

I don’t have kids yet but, I would surely be making these for my twins when they come. *Page bookmarked

Above all, thank you for taking out time to create the recipes, make these baby meals and share for free with everyone.

Lol. Wow,thank you TT for this. Yes, I like keeping recipes simple cos i know everyone will not have access to that tallest mountain and reach that shortest tree…you are one funny person. Thanks once again.
