You shouldn’t be deterred from making a lovely delicious toast for the kids and yourself by a lack of toaster in the house or probably because there’s a blackout. You can still get that crispy toasted bread slices for them.
Whip out your frying pan, get your tub of butter or margarine and make that toast in minutes. Pan-fried toast can be eaten alone or made into a sandwich with a lot of food varieties – chicken, fish, cheese, eggs, vegetables and fruits. It will also make a good finger food for your baby or toddler. Pan-fried Toast Recipe
- Thick sliced bread
- Butter or Margarine
You need a frying pan and spatula.
- Put frying pan on low to medium heat.
- Take a slice of bread and spread a slight generous amount of butter/margarine on both sides.
- Place bread in the pan and allow to cook for about 2 minutes. Flip the other side to cook ensuring that they are toasted to your taste. Quite easy.
